I am a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Economics at UC Berkeley, a Graduate Student Fellow at the Law, Economics, and Politics Center at UC Berkeley School of Law, and a Research Analyst at the Joint Committee on Taxation. I conduct research on the economic effects of taxation, especially the taxation of firms.
I am a lawyer admitted to the bar in both New York and Virginia. Prior to starting the Ph.D. program at UC Berkeley, I practiced law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, was a Heyman Fellow at the U.S. Treasury Department, and conducted policy research at the White House Council of Economic Advisors. I hold a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B. from Harvard College.
